Amazing Spider-Man #365

The Lizard, no longer under Calypso’s control, sneaks into the Connors' home during Billy’s birthday party. Spotting Martha heading to get a gift, he confronts her and insists Curt is in control. Wanting Billy’s help to cure himself, he scratches the boy to collect DNA. Spider-Man intervenes, triggering Curt’s Lizard side, and a fight ensues. Billy halts the battle by striking his father, causing the Lizard to flee. Spidey tracks him to a hidden lab where Curt is conducting risky experiments. A self-destruct is triggered, but Spider-Man disables it. When Billy arrives intending to kill his father, Curt fully regains control, reuniting with his son.
