Supergirl has a troubling nightmare about Doomsday, prompting her to seek counsel from her cousin Superman. She confides in him about her dream and her concerns, leading to a discussion about Doomsday's past. Martian Manhunter then appears, revealing a psychic message about Doomsday's presence in Hell. They venture there, discovering Doomsday's newfound status as the King of Hell, with plans to return to Earth. To thwart this, they rally the damned souls to create a barrier. Ultimately, they escape back to Earth, leaving Doomsday trapped but furious in Hell, as hope persists even in the darkest of places.
