Beowulf #1

Grendel, a demon serving Satan, vows to slaughter the men at Castle Hrothgar during their festivities. Across the sea, Beowulf and his comrades, Wiglaf and Hondscio, learn from the Shaper that King Hrothgar is in peril. They set sail for Daneland. Meanwhile, Grendel attacks the castle, but Beowulf's arrival is delayed by a siren's song and a demonic ambush. Beowulf eventually arrives and faces magical obstacles set by the jealous Unferth before confronting Satan's minions in the swamp.
