Mister Miracle #9

Himon, a master inventor and mentor to Scott Free, is relentlessly pursued by Darkseid's agents, who mistakenly target robot decoys of Himon. Big Barda initially captures Scott and his allies but turns against her superior, Wonderful Willik, when she witnesses his brutal actions. Himon rescues Barda and Scott, leading to a confrontation with Darkseid. Given the choice to stay on Apokolips or seek his destiny elsewhere, Scott chooses freedom and leaps into a Boom Tube. As they disappear, Metron and Himon prophesy a showdown with Orion in Armagetto, while Darkseid vows to dominate all free will in the universe with Anti-Life.
