Somehow, the middle-aged and overweight Bob Reynolds remembers that he is The Sentry, a superhero whom contains the "power of one million exploding suns," derived from a special serum.  Upon realizing that his archenemy the Void is returning, Reynolds seeks out other heroes to warn them only to discover that no one remembers the Sentry.

- Rumors have been circling that this will be the villain in the 2024 Thunderbolts film. Further rumors suggest that actor Steven Yeun will portray the character, but ultimately this all remains unconfirmed.
- 9.8 copies of this book are few and far between, likely due in part to its black cover, as of Nov 2023 there are only 529 on the CGC census.
- [Jan 2024] Steven Yuen has exited the film citing scheduling conflicts, seemingly brought on by the SAG-AFTRA strike of 2023. To that point, it was still unconfirmed by any official Marvel source that he would be playing The Sentry nor whom will replace the actor.
