Upon returning to the Doom Patrol's former headquarters, Robotman encounters a new group identifying as the Doom Patrol—comprising Celsius, Tempest, and Negative Woman. They disclose that General Immortus is on a quest for a fresh immortality serum crafted by Niles Caulder. As tensions escalate, Immortus launches an assault, incapacitating them with a potent noxious gas.
