Spectacular Spider-Man #221

Peter Parker experiences a near-death encounter where he encounters the spirits of Uncle Ben and his parents in the afterlife. However, he is abruptly pulled back into the land of the living by Harry Osborn's spirit, who morphs into the Green Goblin, intending to torment Peter indefinitely. Meanwhile, Doctor Octopus, in the real world, resuscitates Peter, desiring to perpetuate their eternal conflict. As Peter regains consciousness, Octopus surrenders to the police, plotting his next move. Peter returns home to Mary Jane, revealing his excitement about their impending parenthood. In a parallel subplot, Kaine thwarts Stunner's attempt to rescue Octopus and ultimately kills Octopus, marking a grim end to their rivalry.
