Meanwhile, Mary Jane's modeling career flourishes. Later, Peter's headache reveals a Jackal-induced message compelling him to harm Mary Jane. Panicked, Mary Jane contacts the New Warriors for help, fleeing from Peter, who battles his mind's commands. The New Warriors intercept Mary Jane, confronting Peter, who's torn between his love for her and the Jackal's programming.
