A nameless man, later revealed as The Punisher, navigates a deserted Manhattan street, engaging with a crack addict before discovering a cache of weapons and his Punisher gear. He attacks a drug house owned by Wilfrid Sobel, learning that Sobel frequents the Pink Lady club. Castle tracks Sobel and his associates, adopting the alias Bill Messina. After a confrontation, he feigns capture, escapes, kills Sobel, and sends Sobel’s associate, Belinda Foster, to Sweden. Castle continues his war on drugs and meets with Bruce Ayres, learning about a delivery mission tied to his ongoing battle.
