Venom: Lethal Protector #1

In San Francisco, Venom saves a woman from a mugger, kills the attacker, and decides to relocate to the city to protect innocents. Eddie Brock has left his vendetta against Spider-Man behind. However, after an encounter with police, he transforms into Venom and flees. Spider-Man learns of Venom's actions and remembers his role in creating Venom, deciding to track him down. Meanwhile, Venom defends homeless people from gunmen and seeks refuge in their sanctuary. When a developer's men attack, Venom faces them but falls into an old city, thinking he's traveled through time.
