Venom is ambushed by the Jury, led by Orwell Taylor seeking revenge for his son’s death. Despite being incapacitated, Venom escapes, deciding to investigate Roland Treece’s park project. Meanwhile, Spider-Man learns about Eddie Brock's troubled past from Sharon Dempsy, revealing Eddie’s career downfall after being fired and disowned. Roland Treece, worried about Venom, offers him a position as head of security for his park project. Venom accepts but is then confronted by Carlton Drake of the Life Foundation, who seeks Venom’s symbiote’s “children,” not Venom himself.
