Venom: Lethal Protector #4

Venom is imprisoned at the Life Foundation’s Mojave Desert facility, where Carlton Drake extracts the symbiote’s "last son." Meanwhile, Spider-Man is in Santa Cruz investigating reports of Venom-like creatures and learns of a new female symbiote causing chaos at a mall. Venom escapes but is soon incapacitated by a sonic blaster. Back at the Life Foundation, Drake decides to eliminate Eddie Brock and sever his bond with the symbiote. Spider-Man arrives, finding Eddie's body, unaware that five symbiotes are now on the loose, intent on destroying him.
