Warlock defeats the illusions created by the Star Thief and realizes his enemy is the comatose Barry Bauman. The Star Thief conjures a powerful shark, but Warlock tricks it into colliding with a comet. Believing Warlock unconscious, Star Thief is caught off guard as Warlock steals part of his soul. When a fire giant is summoned and controlled by Star Thief, Warlock exploits its vulnerability and crushes its brain. Star Thief escapes, still confident. Warlock flees through a black hole, using Autolycus' skills and the Magus' insight. As he reaches Earth-space, illusions make him appear colossal. Meanwhile, Tom Vocson breaks free and ends Bauman’s life, defeating the Star Thief.
