Captain America and Bucky foil the Red Skull's plot in the 40s, leading to Baron Zemo's punishment. In the 60s, they combat crime and Communism. President Johnson offers Steve Rogers the SHIELD directorship, but he nominates Bucky. Bucky becomes the new Captain America, leading SHIELD against Hydra. In the final battle, both Zemo and Cap perish. Sharon blames Steve, but he understands Bucky's sacrifice.
