Wolverine Limited Series #1

Wolverine tracks a bear that killed fifteen people after an arrow was lodged in its back, leading him to the arrow’s tracker. After dealing with the bear, Wolverine attempts to contact Mariko Yashida but is rejected. He travels to Japan and finds Mariko, who reveals her bruised face from her abusive husband, Noburu-Hideki. Wolverine almost kills him but is stopped. After being ambushed with poisoned shurikens, Wolverine is captured by Lord Shingen, who defeats him in a duel. Abandoned in Tokyo, Wolverine is saved by Yukio, who kills the mob surrounding him.
