The Clock Ticks Faster

The Clock Ticks Faster

Greetings to... THE PEOPLE.

It's been too long. Just over 2 months! Where has the time gone, I wonder? It's been a very eventful couple of months around here, so let's start with a quick summary.

  • I was able to purchase my first large collection thanks to a referral from a friend of mine. I was able to flip most of the collection pretty quickly. It was mixed media, but the comics are still a work in progress. Not a ton of value in the comics, but the other items helped.
  • I moved to a new spot in my flea market location. Now I'm right at the front door making me pretty hard to miss! The new spot is narrower and more rectangular, but I can fit about 3x more stuff in it.
  • I've been buying up a ton of keys and other inventory for my booth. The website and booth have separate inventories, so things are a little tricky in terms of balance.
  • I've been slowly but surely making headway on a secret project that I've been meaning to finish up. This project, once complete, should help me out with buying new inventory. I'll talk more about this project at a future date.

The flea market spot has taken up so, so, so much of my time that I've honestly completely neglected the website. The to-do list I made in my last post is regrettably something that I shake my head at. What good is a comic proprietor that doesn't keep his word?! The good news is that I'm basically all wrapped up on the flea market; it's just maintenance at this point.

So, now, things are FINALLY in a good place where I'm able to start focusing in on the online presence of Northern Comic Co.

Mostly, I wanted to make this post to say: I know. I've been slacking on the website. But I'm focusing in on it now. A pile of inventory is ready to be uploaded. I'm not a fan of making empty promises, so just watch what happens from here on out.
