Amazing Spider-Man #101

Peter Parker finds himself with four extra arms due to a potion he created to remove his spider powers and live a normal life with Gwen Stacy. Feeling like a freak, he pushes Gwen away and declines a job offer from the Daily Bugle, sinking into deeper despair. Seeking help, he contacts Dr. Curt Connors and heads to his Southampton home. Meanwhile, aboard a ship, a mysterious pale man with vampire-like qualities slaughters the crew. He washes ashore near Connors' home and attacks Spider-Man, who is also struggling with his newfound condition. As Spider-Man battles the pale man, Morbius, Dr. Connors transforms into the Lizard, setting the stage for a chaotic confrontation.

- Jared Leto had made a tongue-in-cheek reference to the countless memes made about the Morbius film by posting a video to his social media accounts of him reading over a "Morbius 2: It's Morbin' Time" script.
