Batman escapes the Squid's deathtrap. Croc, uninterested, watches Batman flee. Later, back at Wayne Manor, Trina Todd discovers Bruce's Batsuit, hinting at Batman's identity. Meanwhile, Squid plans another plot against Batman, but Croc, disenchanted, leaves. Waylon, seeking revenge, snipes Squid from afar, eliminating him and marking a shift in Gotham's criminal landscape. Batman and Commissioner Gordon take notice, realizing a new threat has emerged.
