Man-Thing Vol.2 #4 (Newsstand Edition)

High above the Himalayan mountains, the Man-Thing and Elaine cling to an airplane, but the cold causes the creature's hand to snap off, sending them plummeting. In Paris, Dr. Strange battles Azrael, once Lord Julian Phyffe, defeating him and restoring his youth. Dr. Strange, accompanied by Madeleine De St. Germain, investigates mysterious disappearances in Citrusville, Florida, connected to Baron Mordo's plans. As they travel with Sheriff Daltry and Jaxon, they encounter the Man-Thing, seemingly manipulated by Mordo. In a fierce battle, Strange discovers Mordo's true target is the Man-Thing, intended as the ultimate sacrifice to open the Chaos Gates. Meanwhile, Mordo reveals his deception to the captive Madeleine, leaving Dr. Strange in a perilous situation as the Man-Thing seemingly drowns him.
