Luke Cage was attacked by his symbiote-possessed teammates but was rescued by the Mighty Avengers. Together, they fought off the symbiotes until Tony Stark found a cure. In the present, Luke, Jessica, and their daughter discuss the aftermath, with the New Avengers staying to help citizens. At Avengers Tower, the Mighty Avengers plan an invasion of Latveria over the Venom bomb, and Wolverine confronts Jessica about the Skrulls. Learning of The Hood's plans, they investigate and prepare to confront his gang with a spell from Dr. Strange. The New Avengers brace for a daunting battle against overwhelming odds.
