In the present, The Void attacks the heroes. The Invisible Woman, Dr. Strange, and Iron Man defend while Mr. Fantastic and Emma Frost try to reason with Robert. Reed plays a video of Robert urging his present self to accept help. Emma explores Robert's psyche, revealing his origin and that Mastermind implanted commands making him erase Sentry from everyone's memory. Recognizing another figure, Robert traps Emma in his mind and fully embraces The Void.
