Lady Dorma informs Namor that Warlord Krang has seized the throne of Atlantis in his absence. Namor is captured by Krang's guards upon his return and imprisoned. Dorma, hoping to marry Namor, accompanies him to witness Krang on the throne. Krang locks Namor in the dungeons, but Dorma feels guilty and helps him escape. Namor plans to find Neptune's Trident to reclaim his throne. As Namor begins his quest, Dorma steals the Vibra-Key to free him. Krang reveals he orchestrated Namor's escape to ensure his demise.
