Thor races through Latveria with a missile on his tail, threatening both him and a nearby village. To save everyone, he hurls his hammer skyward, creating a vortex that pulls the missile safely away. However, without Mjolnir, Thor crashes to the ground and watches the explosion from below. When the hammer doesn't return, Thor begins searching, but soon reverts to Donald Blake after the 60-second limit passes. Meanwhile, Dr. Doom locates Mjolnir, traps it in a force field, and sends a robot to hunt Blake. After a close call, Blake cleverly regains the hammer, transforms back into Thor, defeats Doom, and returns to Asgard.
